A Simple Reflection on Postpartum

This is postpartum… accepting the highs and the lows or at least learning how to deal with it. Finding your new normal and all of the things in-between.
Today I feel beautiful, so I decided to take pictures. My body is getting closer to my previous measurements even though I am skeptical tat it will get back to the exact measurements that I had previously. I am ok with that outcome.
My hair is in the shedding phase of postpartum. I probably lost about a third of my hair. Yay to postpartum shedding. Side note: it will grow back thank goodness.
I wanted to share this because I made my vest, and I made my pants. My shirt is ready to wear. I figured out a way to make a cute outfit nursing friendly. Separates are my best friend right now.
Postpartum is full of doubt mixed with times of joy and even times of prayer (many times of prayer) this is postpartum.
Scripture I am reflecting on:
Psalm 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
Description of this scripture from my Bible: God’s character goes into the creation of every person. When you feel worhtless remember that God’s Spirit is ready and willing to work within you. We should have as much respect for ourselves as our Maker has for us.
