From Postpartum to Perfect Fit: How I Revived My Favorite Jumpsuit with a Cozy Cardigan NewLook 6661
This post is a wonderful and fun OOTD. I wanted to show this jumpsuit because I have not been able to wear it for like 1.5 years. It became too small for me around the hip and thigh area. The interesting thing is that I made it a little big initially because I was still postpartum and my body was still changing. One of my favorite things to do when I go over a friends house is to sit on the couch with my feet on the couch so that I can get comfortable. I wanted to make a outfit that I can just kick back and relax in. I also wore this jumpsuit to a beautiful outdoor wedding and to church. I mean it is just so versatile.
One day I was just thinking and realized that I could totally wear this jumpsuit with a long cardigan so I ran to my closet to find one. The pictures show the end result and styling. I was excited when I thought about wearing the jumpsuit with a cardigan because I could finally feel comfortable enough to wear it again!!! So here we are wearing it again.
Oh yea the other thing is that I almost cut it up to refashion it, but I couldn’t get myself to change it because I loved the original style so much.
The purpose of this jumpsuit was to be secret pajamas that I could dress up or dress down. I can wear it with heels or sneakers which I absolutely do both!!
I really like this moody lighting thanks to fall and the lack of sun lol.
I wanted to include a fun video with this post as well so I hope you enjoy it. Sewing is so visual so photos and video really help you to gather the look of the outfit.
